New year, new rules:
2024 Parapets - DOB
Beginning on January 1, 2024, every building owner must have an observation of the parapet on their building(s) performed in accordance with the requirements of Section 28-301.1.1 of the New York City Administrative Code.
2024 Lead Paint Inspections - HPD
NYC landlords and owners of pre-1978 buildings to have all dwelling units inspected for lead. All inspections must be completed within before August 9, 2025 or if a child under 6 resides or moves into an apartment, the deadline for completing lead testing shortens to 1 year.
