Our Story

In the beginning...

Pro Homeworks was a team that provided real estate services with a passion for helping property owners and with a commitment towards creating excellence in standards for property management and real estate sales. Specializing in the residential, multi-family, mixed use commercial, the distressed market (short sales, divorce, estates, etc.) and working with Government Sponsored Enterprises, and other financial institutions' in the sale and management of property their Real Estate Owned (aka bank-owned) property.

Being aware of the local economic impact caused by the sale of a home, our founder, Anthony Fernandez, a former IT expert with over 20 years of real estate experience as a property manager, licensed associate broker, team leader and former office manager kept finding ways to solve problems. One day he began incorporating his skills in tech and enjoyment of training and everything began to change.  

The sale of real estate is not a singular event. As a transaction, it can involve over a dozen service providers. After the closing of a sale and the exchange of keys, there are suppliers and products needed regularly. Real estate agents are the first and most continuous part of homeowners' journey.

Among real estate professionals, he uncovered areas that lacked communication, created friction that drains the life out of collaboration and efficiency.  A force that would devastate the buoyancy of any brokerage, forcing it to a slow voyage to success, probable lost of its talented real estate agents and a closing that no broker-owner would ever want to attend. Anthony began to work on solutions to improve their experience and increase their exposure to opportunities. His belief is that every business from a cabinet manufacturer to plumber to a roofer, they are a part of what makes a home and keeps it running.

Who We Are

Anthony Fernandez

Founder, Creator and Integrator

Technical Background and Experience: Dating back to 1999, Anthony and his high school friend created a small business tech company providing solutions to travel agencies, retail food stores, mortgage, real estate brokerages and attorney law firms. From custom workstation builds, wired network setup and digital media creation of logos, websites, animations to consulting and implementation of file and network management. He went on to becoming a lead technician serving the NYC MTA Queens subway and then as a network engineer as a contractor for the US Army 77th Reserve. This remained a strong underlying asset as he later established his real estate practice and even entered the world of beauty founding an artist representation agency.

About Anthony: A second generation licensed real estate practitioner for over 19 years, born and raised in Brooklyn, NYC. With the experience of owning and managing real estate for over 22 years, and having excelled in the role as managing director of 2 brokerages. Today, he confidently leads the team in representation from private individuals, to Lenders (BofA, Citi, Wells Fargo), Government Sponsored Enterprises (Fannie Mae) and corporate clients (NationStar, Ocwen) for the purchases and sales of residential, co-ops, mixed use and multi-family properties.

He is also well known as being the CEO, producer and host of From The Neighborhood. An Educational Media brand he has created to support the connection of neighbors via the stories of local notables and achievers.

As a child he learned from his parents the importance of connecting with the community and building relationships. Confident and forthright, he is forever living as a creator and believes that creativity allows for a better future for all. Holding many positions in various industries since his first job at age 10. He has rarely completed a job application as he upholds the value of a good reputation and a job well done.

Passionate for learner and organizer. Embracing the challenges to be a part of and develop systems that help better run organizations. Her vast experience has been as an executive assistant for many industries. This is where she acquired new skills that would open her logistical and critical mind to find and achieve data driven results. She works on critical weekly reports, aggregating data and updating and maintaining client files and progress charts.

RAmon Tobin

Lead Developer

Having worked on over 400 web app projects. He actively manages, and maintains the communicating language for the web based applications and other related systems developed at Pro Homeworks. Following with direction of Anthony, his work focuses on what the software should do, how it should look, and how users interact with it so that it relates to its practical use in a business environment.
